What catches people
A line that works for one wheelbase may put another vehicle on its rocker, bumper, or downhill side.
Conditions change it
Water, sand, loose rock, new holes, and stacked traffic can materially change the obstacle.
Fit
Low range, recovery points, appropriate clearance, and an experienced spotter are baseline requirements.
