Mile 0.7–1.0
Slickrock fins and domes
A sustained series of large fins and domes, ending with a steep climb and descent rather than one named stunt.
Before you continue
Treat the whole section as an obstacle. Leave space, stay on the chevrons, and do not crest a dome until the landing is clear.
What catches people
Blind crests, abrupt pitch changes, and vehicles stopping on the far side make this harder than a single climb.
Conditions change it
Congestion and wet or icy rock are the main multipliers.
Fit
Stable low-range control and enough breakover clearance for repeated domes.
