Before you continue

Use the signed bypass by default. Attempt the obstacle only with an experienced spotter and a vehicle set up for technical off-camber terrain.

What catches people

The off-camber ledges can lift the uphill tire and make a line that looks close enough become unstable quickly.

Conditions change it

Erosion, sand, tire pressure, and traffic on the bypass all affect the safe setup area.

Fit

Technical off-camber experience, traction, clearance, recovery points, and one experienced spotter.

At the obstacle

  1. Stop before the fork without blocking the bypass.
  2. Walk both the obstacle and bypass; check current erosion and traffic.
  3. Choose one route before moving and use one spotter if attempting the obstacle.
  4. Do not turn onto unmarked rock to create another line.
